The zero pressure accumulation systems from Rollex guarantee the safe transportation of sensitive goods by preventing collisions during the transport process. All the components required to set up a zero pressure accumulation system are available directly from the Rollex range. They are particularly ideal for transporting goods that require sensitive handling and must not collide - such as wheel rims or painted items. When transporting goods with irregular surfaces, as can occur in the automotive industry or with frozen products, zero pressure accumulation systems with driven conveyor elements ensure a smooth and problem-free process.
Transport of goods up to 1,200 kg. The coupling has a 5/8×5/16" z13 chain sprocket on one side and a 1/2×5/16" z14 chain sprocket on the other. The z13 chain sprocket has a pinion toothing and is operated with tangentially driven chains. Sprocket z14 redirects the drive to the respective accumulation position.
Transport of goods weighing up to 120 kg. There is a 1/2 x 5/16" z11 chain wheel on both sides of the coupling, one of which is driven by a tangentially driven chain and the other of which diverts the drive to the stowage point.
The pneumatic cylinder type 530 Z controls clutches efficiently at around 4 bar pressure. With integrated logic, the light sensor and the light barrier with mirror eliminate complicated control requirements, simplify the application and increase efficiency.
The magnetic roller type 536E is a pallet roller with an integrated electromagnetic clutch. It is characterized by high entrainment force, smooth start-up and the ability to move the conveyed goods manually if a system malfunction occurs.
The Rollex Drive System makes the use of zero pressure accumulation conveyor systems considerably easier. Thanks to the simple combination of components with the control card (in a modular system), complex systems can be put into operation quickly and cost-effectively.
The zero pressure accumulation circuit has an internal logic that enables communication with other accumulation points and regulates the optimum material flow. The drive is only activated when the material passes through the conveyor section's light barrier and switches off automatically as soon as it leaves the section.
The Rollex Multi Drive Card (RMD Card) simplifies the use of zero pressure accumulation systems. The internal logic of the RMD-Card controls the motors in such a way that they transport the conveyed goods without dynamic pressure or contact.
The RMD card uses photoelectric sensors to detect the individual conveyed goods. It is not necessary to switch the switching outputs, as both standardized PNP and NPN outputs can be used. The conveying direction can be enabled centrally via a common control signal. The logic direction of the controller changes automatically with the direction of rotation of the motors. This can be defined in advance using the rotary coding switch. Control via a standardized bus system (e.g. Profibus) is possible as an option.
The motor function is equipped with runtime monitoring (blocking protection). If a motor is switched off by the runtime monitoring (approx. 10 seconds), it is blocked until its light barrier is released.
