Since 1973, Rollex Förderelemente GmbH & Co. KG has stood for competent development and production of components for intralogistics. With a production area of 26,000 m² and 300 dedicated employees, we manufacture driven and non-driven conveyor rollers, zero pressure accumulation system components and products in the field of dynamic storage technology.

1973

Foundation of Rollex Förderelemente GmbH & Co. KG in Remscheid.

1975

Around two years after its foundation, the company moved to Werne in order to continue to grow and develop.

1978

Construction and move to the current main plant in Werne to meet the increasing demand for conveyor elements.

1982

The main plant in Werne was expanded for the first time in order to increase production capacity.

1988

Second expansion of the main plant at the Werne site to ensure continuous growth.

1995

Rollex started with the warehouse technology components product line in order to expand the product portfolio and open up new markets.

1997

Launch of the storage technology components product line.

2001

Expansion of the Ebersdorf site to meet the increasing demand in southern Germany and Austria.

2003

Third expansion of the headquarters in Werne to further increase production capacity.

2005

The company opened foreign branches in Slovenia, Hungary and Russia to strengthen its international presence.

2006

The foreign branch in Poland was opened to strengthen the company's presence in Eastern Europe.

2007

Opening of a further foreign branch in the Czech Republic and fourth expansion of the main plant in Werne.

2008

Opening of a foreign branch in Spain to strengthen the company's presence in south-western Europe.

2009

Opening of foreign branches in Luxembourg and Belgium to serve customers in the Benelux region.

2012

Opening of foreign branch in France to strengthen presence in Western Europe.

2014

Opening of foreign branch in Turkey to strengthen presence in the Eastern Europe region.

2016

Acquisition of the Esch Group B. V. in the Netherlands in order to expand the product portfolio and increase the company's presence in Western Europe.

2019

Significant expansion of production through construction of the ultra-modern production facility Plant 3 at the Werne site to ensure continuous growth.

2023

Planning of a new and ultra-modern development and production site in Werne.
